Yale '72 50th Reunion

Lordy, was I excited! I received my formal invitation to the Yale Class of '72 Reunion last June held at Davenport College (I'm a Saybrook man, but that's OK). Unfortunately I was unable to attend, so I dropped the organizers an RSVP saying I would be washing my hair that week. Actually between deconstructing Western Civilization and seducing and abandoning any 20-something gerontophile with big tits still crazy enough to swallow my come dance with me blandishments, I'm just one busy bee!

When asked for my contribution to the 50th Anniversary Reunion Book, I sent along my photos of models, porn stars and assorted wives and girlfriends. I fully expected the following response: "Thank you for helping to make the Yale Class of '72 Yearbook the best ever! Unfortunately, due to space limitations..."

But no! When I check the online galleys, the pics are there! However, I can't find my reflections on life. Well, I guess they have their priorities straight.

I

This weekend the actual hard copy arrived - a few months late, but it must have been yeoman's work. The book includes my reflections on life but reduced my carefully winnowed photos down to two. Ah well... they didn't treat me worse than anyone else. Life is hard and then you die.

Honestly, I didn't believe so many boring people could come out of Ivy, with their rotary clubs and law firm gold watches and prized but sensibly few grandchildren.

At a rough count I see 2 suicides one of which is a murder-suicide, and that's Saybrook '72 alone!

II

Still I feel the need to share my contributions with the world. For one thing the exciting content is currently available only to myself and my classmates. And over and above that, shouldn't the photos that didn't make the hard copy be bequeathed to posterity? Finally, once I started sorting through the old life's work, I discovered more than a few thousand photos which lay unwept in storage for far too long. It's time for them to see the light of day.

I will probably start with reproducing the details of my bio which was somewhat truncated in the published copy.

At Home with Bree

I didn't expect this pic had a snowball's chance in hell of making the Reunion Book, even heavily bowdlerized as it was. But when I inspected the galleys, there it was. Boola boola!

Professional Photography

These two photo essays were created as part of advertising campaigns for men's and women's casual wear. There are hundreds of photos from each so these images represent no more than a tiny sample.

Chicago - Mackinac

This is a fantasy recreation of the famous Chicago Yacht Club boat race. The scheduled female model unexpectedly showed up with her toddler son whom the boat owners wouldn't allow to board for safety reasons. So my assistant had to fill in. This was Neringa's first and last professional modeling assignment!

Idol

This fantasy record of a day in the life of a pop idol shot in a recording studio on Clark Street. The studio manager rudely played his music at ear splitting volumes over our objections, so this wasn't a particularly peaceful shoot.

Porn

"Much of what I shot is pornography which unfortunately can't be shown here. However, I've had the good fortune to work with Playmates, Pets and some of the top names in the business. Here are a few head shots I took of these talented performers." I wrote that for the Reunion Book. Now that I'm free of silly restrictions I can match the head shots with the real thing.

Fine Arts

Most of my fine arts work was shot on film and I didn't scan the originals in order to avoid the impression that the scans are the finished work. In their place here are some Android snaps of the prints on my walls. My fine arts models were almost all non-professional personal friends and acquaintances.
